Game Background

The Cauldron fizzles as tendrils of green blood snake down the pedestal. Inside is the Blood of Mannoroth, the greatest and most malevolent of the Pit Lords. A sudden crash as the Warlock, Gul’dan, plunges his arm into the shifting pool before drawing it back delicately, a skull goblet cradled within his hand, filled with Demon’s Blood. In one timeline, a great orc warchief knelt preparing to drink this most cursed liquor, yet in others, stands his son, or a great hunter, or an honorable paladin, or a ferocious lich, or noone but Gul’dan himself. Whoever took the burden, the effect was the same. Once the blood was quaffed, the souls of themselves and their allies were tarnished, a great power welled inside them, but blemished by a surging of hate. In this new Hearthstone Expansion, explore the different paths our heroes go on as they drink the blood of Mannoroth in place of Grommash, giving them great power at a great cost. Welcome to Corrupted by Demon’s Blood!
